I stayed at Banlekhi Cottages for 3 days, and it was one of the most peaceful and refreshing experiences I’ve had in a long time. Tucked away in a hidden village in Uttarakhand, this place truly feels like a secret escape from the chaos of city life. The view is absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the mountains and fresh air every morning was pure bliss. The food was another highlight: fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. Every meal felt like home-cooked comfort with a local touch. The cottages are cozy, well-maintained, and blend beautifully with the natural surroundings. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful, making me feel completely at ease throughout my stay. Everything about this place is just right — the quiet, the scenery, the food, and the feeling of being far away from the noise. I had a great time and would highly recommend Banlekhi Cottages to anyone looking to unwind in nature.

Superb view, peaceful location, and excellent hospitality! We visited Banlekhi Cottages during the first week of June and were truly amazed by the serene atmosphere and breathtaking views. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to relax in nature. Mr. Sachin, the manager, was incredibly hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. The food was delicious—special thanks to the chef for being so cooperative and attentive to our preferences. A must-stay place if you're looking for peace, beauty, and warm hospitality in the hills!

A blissful mountain escape🌄 Just returned from the most beautiful mountain stay, and it was nothing short of magical.The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking every morning felt like waking up in a dream, surrounded by nature’s calm and serenity. It’s one of those places where time slows down, and you truly feel present. The stay was cozy, comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Loved the authentic Kumaoni cuisine—simple, soulful, bursting with traditional flavours and the special chutney,It made the experience feel even more rooted and special. A special mention to the host (Mr.Rakesh ji) who made the experience even more memorable with their warmth, hospitality, and local recommendations. And to top it all off, a musician (Mr Bobby ji)played live music in the evening, which truly made our day—strumming under the starlit sky was pure magic. A perfect , peaceful gateway !

We stayed here for 7 days with our pet dog and enjoyed every bit of it. The location is very serene and the view is amazing. The approach road, about 400mtrs to the cottages is gravel and steep, need expertise to take the car up. The chef Naveen is great with indian, continental and chinese cuisine. Sachin, the manager is very helpful and resourceful. Service was very good and our stay was very comfortable. Momo the Saint Bernard is very cute and children love her.
